Hello and thanks for visiting
Previously a ceramic and surface pattern designer (many moons ago, pre computers!), I reluctantly moved into the world of IT in academia. Now, after 30 years, I'm back where I belong, in the creative world, and I couldn't be happier.
During the pandemic, when everything slowed right down, I spent time reconnecting with my love for surface pattern, taking online courses, trying to master Adobe Illustrator and losing glorious hours creating repeat patterns whilst also working full time.
More recently, having taken a couple of printmaking courses and no longer working full time, I've fallen in love with the slowness of hand carving and block printing and everything has wonderfully fallen into place.
As a printmaker based in Wales, my work is deeply rooted in the textures and colours of nature and the nostalgic charm of vintage and retro design. I find constant inspiration from my own garden and the great outdoors as well as my other passion: food & drink.
